ABOUT TADD

Tadd VanDemark was born on December 27, 1963 in Champaign, Illinois. He began fishing at the age of 5, where he developed a passion for the sport and his skills evolved over time. Although Tadd has fished all over the United States, he set up his charter business in the Florida Keys where he resided for twelve years, before moving to Port Charlotte two years ago, where he continues his 12 year career as a charter boat captain.

As far as accolades go, they speak for themselves. Tadd has been a professional fishing angler for the past 10 years, touring the US in various redfish tournaments. He was the 2006 FLW World Redfish Champion, and won the 2007 FLW Team of the year and has 14, top 5 finishes. He was also the 2010 runner-up Team of the Year for the Elite 50 Redfish Tour.

Aside from Captain Tadd’s professional career as a fisherman, he is involved with many related fishing ventures such as setting up fishing tournaments for children, and speaking at various fishing seminars. He has also appeared on many television shows.
